So cal
i need help with my 7 inch silver arowana. i have had it now for 5 days and hasnt eaten yet. i tested my water and everythings fine. temperature is at 82 right now. what do i do ?

Welcome to MFK!! There are lots of people here that can give you great advice. I have to ask first, what size tank is your aro in and what have you offered him so far?

lower the temp to 78. what foods have you tried feeding the aro? sometimes it takes a while for aros to get use to the environment. dont worry too much. 7" he can last a while without food

My aro has been kept around 80-82 since she was 1.5" long. She is now the same size as yours or a bit bigger and she is doing great and eating like a pig. Ours loves freeze dried krill and crickets.

I'd leave the temp were it is. Is your aro in with any tank mates? I would feed him a good quality pellet or stick, eventually he will eat so If ya get him going on pellets now you can widen the variety later with freeze dried krill, crickets and market shrimp etc. Best though to stay away from live feeders unless you breed your own.

Don't worry too much, he can go up to a couple weeks without food if he is healthy.

I'm going to move this to the appropriate section for you.
