Cooler water can hold more oxygen, which can be critical because chlorine damages the inner gills

Well if the water was too cold for too long I'm sure it wouldn't be good either

Obviously yes, just turn it down a few degrees

thanks guys , my arowana and other rays seem to have recovered. so far no ammonia spike.
but my arowana's appettite has not yet returned. but he is swimming and breathing normally now. out temperature here dont drop really low.

Just add ice if possible(use non chlorinated water).

thanks rainy season started . water a little cooler. My fish seem to have recovered.
