hi i got a crawfish last year from a science project and i was wondering what to feed her she gets fed sinking shrimp pellets but what else can i feed to her :wall:

worms, mine loved them when I kept them years ago. algae, squid, dead fish; anything they can chew on, they'll eat it.

Mine loved to eat frozen peas (thawed of course). Also ate my beta, an angelfish, and one red belly piranha that died.

As many people have already stated, they eat everything. Mine loves algae wafers, eats fish, so far its killed 3 mollies. It will eat sinking pellets, shrimp pieces, pretty much if it hits the bottom of the tank he will eat it.

DO NOT FEED CRAYS SHRIMP! THEY WILL GET A CRUSTACEAN DISEASE! i occasionally get another baby cray from the river i originally got mine to treat my cray. other than that, he eats flakes that sink to the bottom left over from my fish. they are scavengers and will pretty much eat anything

What kind of disease is this? the shrimp i feed is for my fish, it is market shrimp cut up into little pieces. Should I not do this for fear of hurting the cray? I have never heard this before, so I have no idea...If a piece hits the bottom it is hard to tell if he grabs a bit or not...I wouldn't want him to drop dead from something stupid like that...
