My leos are my most aggresive rays by far and my male leo will randomly every couple months just attack my male motoro and then just leave it alone again for a couple months. No idea why.

You mentioned wild caught. A possibility is injuries received during capture. A unseen hook in esophagus or digestive system? Just thoughts. -FM
