i said version not a legit asian arowana its like a phone.Motorola has many versions of the droid. and plus they are close to similar the only difference is that there from 2 difference countries and one cost maybe 50-100 dollar difference

look at the tail, the coloration, the prices
asians have more coloration and cost the most and jardini are another version of asian but dont cost as much and have a greyish tint and silvers and black/blues are the same but 2 different colors and blacks cost more silvers are the cheapest in the chain

:duh: version of asian aro, are you sure the asian aro isn't just a version of the Australian aro

so $50-100 different? a small 6'' jar cost about $70 while the green arowana (the cheapest Asian aro) cost about 2-3 time that much and the high grade supper red and golden cross back cost at least 20-30 time a jardini!
so, what are you talking about? the phones or the fish?

hello ive owned a few silver aros in the past but i wanna learn more. i always see pics of austrailan, asain, african, and south america. and i also see jardini, red, gold, silver and black. i know the the silver aros are from south america. but where are the rest from? and which are most aggressive in order also which can be kept with angels and stingrays in a 500 gal. thanks in advance
silver, black are from South America; jardini and leichardti are from Australia; African aro from Africa; Asian arowana come from Indonesia, Malaysia(and Singapore?)
Jardini might be the most aggressive of all!

Can help to answer a few, Australian a.k.a. Jardini some of us call it pearl. Tend to have unique spottings with greenish tint. Reds are natural graded in 2 category. 1 of no.1 red a.k.a. Super/chilli and many more fancy titles 2ndly Banjar reds. The former have better genes that carries higher chance of red in n adult fish over the latter. Gold is known as cross backs a.k.a. xb jumpy specimen. They carry distinct feature of the classic bullet head or the trendy golden heads that we see nowadays. Red tail golden, a.k.a Rtg a breed of his own carries the shine similar to xb on the other hand the crossing of the shines seem to be at the 4th level crossing only. This term is applicable on the traditional breed as nowadays the contemporary high backs may be mistaken as xbs. Silver & blacks are of longish bodied, they can grow rather huge & last of my limited knowledge over the other breeds green. Thanks for reading

I've seen 4-5''(10-12.5cm) jardini for $20 in Vietnam! green go at least $150! and other Asian are cost more than green! if you say $50-$100 different then it's only apply for Jardini and green not Jar and Asian aro in general!

Asian Arowana don't come from Singapore but they are bred there. Overall Asian Aros are found in some South East Asia. Jardini aren't the most aggressive Aro, it's more of an individual thing.

Second to that, Indo have very nice reds, and the Malaysia Pahang Golds have always been sought after todate. Happy new year everyone. Do wish me back
