I've done a lot of reading through old post on drip systems. I've made my mind up, I want to put one in. I already have a pur flo that i'd like to use with it. It does 50 gallons per day, so that should be more then enough for a 135 gallon tank. The problem I'm having is how I'd hook the pur flow up. It uses the standers watering hose fitting (no clue what its called). I can't hook it up to the faucet since it'll be in the master bedroom. What are my solutions?

add a spigot in the master bath under the vanity

This would probably be your best option. Be careful of the water pressure for the pur flo system. Make sure it can handle your water pressure. If not, pick up a pressure regulator when you are at the hardware store. They're about $7.

Would the water pressure be a lot more being tapped into the pipe vs connecting directly to the facet? I've been using the pur flow for about a week now connecting it to the faucet with no problems. It's just a pain feeling up a garbage can and then transfer the water into the tank.
