My Eheim has been set up for about a month and it is a good filter. Its spits out bubbles about every 5 minutes or so. Is this normal. I checked for any breaches in the tube or anything and everything looks good. Help please!:nilly:

Check the seal of the head to the canister, check the connections.

I checked the hose connections but what do you mean when you say the head of the canister

I believe he's referring to the O-ring seal between the head (where the pump is) and the canister itself. If the O-ring isn't seated and sealing properly, that's where the air would be sucked in.

ok thnx

If you have the proII model line....just push the big prime button on the top of the cannister while the filter is running a couple time.....should help, could just be air trapped inside and do what I stated above might / should force the air out!!:)
