So my cichlids have been spoiled with bloodworms and blackworms for awhile in the past and now I'm trying to get them onto a better daily staple. I've tried NLS, tetra, cichlid gold, all of them they do not touch. They will even eat it and spit it back out immediately. Why and how do i fix this?!?!?!?

You can starve them, sounds harsh but it works, eventually they take the pellets...but I should ask how old/big are your fish? What species

2 tanks
75g has a 7inch female jag (she is the only one that will eat the Xtreme 9mm pellets I feed her)
And in there is also a 3 inch female flowerhorn
40g has a 6in jack dempsey, 2 inch jack dempsey and 1.5 inch male F1 flowerhorn

And that's what i was thinking, maybe don't feed for a day and only put in a couple of pellets at a time and little by little they'll ween onto them

May take more than a few days. Dont offer anthing but pellets

I've had/am having the same problem with my JD. Starving is working but they don't like it. Just gotta stick to it.

Fish can go a long time without food, starve them until they eat the pellets. I love NLS, but I'll admit it must not be the best tasting food. I frequently get fish that won't eat it. I never sweat it, the fish starve until they start eating it. Eventually, pellets get the fish just as excited as anything else.

Just make sure you are not feeding too large of a pellet. I see that happen a lot.
