I recently picked up a 22+ inch Royal Clown knife. I also have a 15 inch Giant Gourami that has been very peaceful up until this latest addition. The gourami has been beating the snot out of the RCK, I really want to keep him but need some ideas to a peaceful solution. Thanks in advance.

You could try to rearrange the tank. My local fish store told me this and i tried it when my convict and JD were trying to kill each other they seemed to stop and now i change my tank around every few month and it seem to alway reduce aggression.

Giant Goramy can be a mean SOB if they want to. How big is the tank? Sometimes adding more fish can ease the tension. But if you got aggressive Giant Goramy you going to have to decide to get rid of one of them. I got two Giant Redtail goramy's. For the most part they don't bother the other fish. But every now and then they take jabs at the other fish knock scales off. That's made me think I may have to get rid of them.

This is exactly what he is doing. every once in a while knocking a few scales off. I knew the RTGG could be mean, but heard regular GG were more laid back. Hate to do it, but if it continues I am going to have to rehome the big clown knife :(
