That is bonkers, lol.
My gaffer at work loves the Toyota Land cruiser, it's the only vehicle he'll drive and he gets a brand new top spec one every 3 years. The engine in one of those is a 4.5 litre twin turbo, and that is a big engine in the UK compared to the vast majority of other cars on the road.
A few years ago because of the new legislation regarding emissions on these gas guzzlers, they stopped making the model he loves so much, he simply can't get one in this country. So he is still driving around in his last one, which is about 7 years old now! He won't part with it.
If the emissions do gooders have done this to us, how the hell can tens of millions of Americans be riding around in trucks which make my bosses land cruiser look like a go cart!!!
Obviously the emissions policies and attitude to these gas guzzlers by your government is light years away from ours. Even more puzzling when you think that this fight against climate change is meant to be a global one! I just don't get it.
Ulu
, I know you'll have a slant on this.
