I bought a 'Gold Pirahna" i got help on scientific names fron MFK. I have no idea what it is. i just know my wife likes it. If it was a rhom, id piss my pants because i DO know i want a rhom.

Notice the head shape on mine versus yours------You certainly have a rhom...
 
how big are those, ours is about 5 inches. i see ours is more diamond shapes and yours have rounder heads. lady i got it from has a rhom and they are shaped the same but the rhom is darker,

My biggest mac is only a 6.5 incher....

Many things can cause a difference in coloration...
 
i just got it home and in the tank about 10 minutes ago, it had spend an hour in a cooler. i'll post pics tomorrow after is destresses
