and the conversation? debate? argument? comes full circle. I would debate FH needed the most water changes to prevent HITH, Oscars are very susceptible to it if water changes are not of a high enough % to keep nitrates in check at 20ppm or less.
I do not and will not run carbon. just not needed IMHO and has a suggested. Please read suggested and not stated as a fact link to HITH. rather run more BB filtration in its slot.
