Help with I.D. rhom or spilo

picked this guy up real cheap. labeled gold diamond.
unsure of species. i think it is rhom but i've seen pictures of spilo that look similar. Please help id.

I'd say rhom.

Scutes look pretty uniform I would say rhom. Sanchezi look smiliar to rhoms when they are small and are labeled as spilos a lot.

I want to say he's a Sanchezi. My personal Sanchezi look much different but I've seen a few reputable vendors offering Sanchezi that look just like that.

One way to tell for certain. Throw a dozen feeder Comets with him. If he just takes the tails off, he's a Sanchezi.

If he eats the whole fish then he's a Rhom. That's not fail proof but would be my first thought.

How long has he been in your tank? Did he have more red/purple color at the store you bought him?
