The folds look closer in this pic which would indicate mala or mbigua, though mbigua tend to have a flatter head and an obvious raise to their back. I count four pores. As for LL I can't make out some of the scales due to lighting. I can't remember pore counts for mbigua off the top of my head so I'll search for the tax and get back with that.

One would think that, but deformities could be slight, and coloration isn't a definitive characteristic of the species AFAIK. It's a new species so its distribution may not be fully known yet
