Help with ID possible hybrid

Hell, i won't argue with you. Considering you can tell, just by looking at this fish, that a female Festae was it's mother. Damn, you're good!



The ail spot you speak of is also a strong trait of Lyonsi. You say "Dot on tail, etc." Define etc. What other Festae traits does this fish show?

festea have the bars like on that fish, i have never seen bars that big on a lyonsi before (in real life) but i am aware that fh's get bars that fade with age as well, lyonsi is a very good guess and i may be wrong, but then again i never said i was correct i was simply just stating what fish i thought it might be

I'm 90% sure it's a flowerhorn, and since FH's are a hybrid of more than one particular type of fish i think it's kinda redundant to say it's part FH part whatever else, because FH's generally show traits from the various fish within it's bloodline. EX. it could be FHxRD, FHxMidas, FHxTrimac, or any other fish that will breed with flowerhorns,
