thanks alot, lol, I'll put up a better picture next time, hope more will recognize it. I though this fish is a bit lazy, couse all it does just sitting and laying on the bottom of my tank, I though it was death or playing death, but when I touch it, it moves normally, I'll keep it update, :headbang2
cheers

it is either an african leaf fish or south american one...

yeah I think you right, its a leaf fish, I just remember the local name of it here in the lfs, and also I've just found it on the web about it, this fish is hardly move unless something touches it,
thanks,
cheers

They pop up in the stores here from time to time and some sellers have the nerve to label them as marbled datnoids.:irked:

it's not a south american leaf fish i've seen these fairly regularly in my lfs,and these only take live food like guppies of various sizes, the nandid genus are commonly known as leaf fish though

I confused my self too, but I'm pretty sure its an african leaf fish. This guy barely move, he just sitting on the bottom all day, definitely not an active fish. I put it together with my bichirs but it doesnt seems to be welcomed, so I remove it to a smaller tank on its own now. The fish is only about 2", now I'm a bit worry couse it hasnt eat anything yet. I also put small guppies in the tank, and hope he will take a bite anytime soon. :screwy:

no good the fish just die, :irked: I went to work this morning and came back late evening, then I saw it laying on the bottom, totally death, :irked:,
It hasnt ate anything since I bought it, huh poor guy...
