That looks like a sp. "Red Bahia" to me.

A species that is closely related to brasiliensis but it does not get as big as the brasiliensis. I have seen them available from time to time in the LFS.

He (or she) looks somewhat like that fish but the coloring is different with the rose coloring on nose, blue, gold and red on fins, gold on scales with a pale (maybe fading) vertical line through eye. I will try to get more pics if it will help. I bought two of them almost three monthes ago, (cheap ~ US $7per fish). They are currently between three and four inches long. There were no fish in the tank labeled geophagus, but that's what I thought they were, or a close relative. Thanks for the responses
