Help with identifiying this fish please

its a chalceus.

there are two species of chalceus commonly available.

one has a red tail with yellow fins (like mine)

the other has a red tail with no yellow in the fins but has red spots down the side, like in the original pic.

Yup, one has a yellow adipose and is bit stockier the other does not. Im not sure whether its a different .sp or not though.

I believe the baensch photo atlas lists two different ones but I could be wrong.

I'll have to dust it off...
