Would a red belly pacu be fine in a two foot wide tank? Im thinking about getting one. :D

Also what are some basic needs that they need? Like what type of decor.

a red belly pacu will need a 450 + gallon tank when grown... at least that is what 95 % of the threads I have read say any way ....

I agree and depending on how many silver dollars you get you might be able to get a med sized fish as the center peice of the tank ... I heard silver dollars makes great dithers

NO to the Pacu in that tank!

Try Silver Dollars, look pretty similar.

If your measurements are correct, the tank you have is 134.65g

You have lots of options! Raise a single large bruiser like a Flowerhorn or Midas.

get a school of SDs and then one (or a pair) of centerpeice fish, either a couple bichirs or maybe go with a mid-sized SA cichlid (green terror or jack dempsey could be good, maybe even 1 of each and a school of 7-8 SDs but you'd have to ask somebody with more cichlid experience than i have)
