I recently returned from a 3 day trip to find both my filters onlw and one clogged
The water was clouded and two of my largest parrot fish were pale
One has a major bad HITH
The other has a small amount and maybe stringy poop I saw it one day but it's gone now
They are in an isolated tub that's been cycling melafix for 2 days now
I heard HITH comes from inside the fish and heard people feeding their fish pellet soaked in Epsom salt does this work?
Also can two sick fish be together in isolation?

One has HITH and one has some internal parasites would be my guess due to stringy poop. I never treated nor had HITH but for stringy poop I've noticed using steamed peas and soaked pellets with pesom salt works. Show us some pics of the fish with HITH. Sorry to hear this happened.

Treating hole in the head is easy as: water changes, water changes, and water changes. Lots of fresh water and time will clear it up. Don't stop or itll come back.

The tank lately was super clean but when I came back one of my filters got clogged and the other was on low so the HITH came back

You likely are dealing with hex/spiro. The white poop and bloating can all be symptoms. I might Hexshiled, its has the Epsom and metro already combined.

A better picture would be appreciated, just so we can positively ID pathogen.

Sorry guys I lost the King Kong parrot when i got home from school she was 8 inches and 6 years old sigh

I'll take a pic of the other one later but it's just HITH
