help with pics

is it a digital camera?

maybe try w/ better/different lighting in the room?

ive been reading this whole time, and it seems the shutter speed is what is to blame.
but i dont think i can change that. ill go through the options again.

and apperently macro is for closeups....duh

Yeah, basically what's going on is that the camera feels that it needs to keep the shutter open for longer so that it can obsorb enough light to take a good picture, but your fish move, or you move and they end up getting blurred. The shutter probably doesn't need to be open that long because you only need to capture in detail the bright fish whereas it is trying to also capture the black background and the wood detail. If you can adjust the Shutter speed, that will help, but I if that fails, then just do what I do, and take a billion pictures and some are bound to look good.
