Yeah, basically what's going on is that the camera feels that it needs to keep the shutter open for longer so that it can obsorb enough light to take a good picture, but your fish move, or you move and they end up getting blurred. The shutter probably doesn't need to be open that long because you only need to capture in detail the bright fish whereas it is trying to also capture the black background and the wood detail. If you can adjust the Shutter speed, that will help, but I if that fails, then just do what I do, and take a billion pictures and some are bound to look good.


at the highest quality i cant take 7k pictures so u got at least a plan lol
 
Yea, point and shoot digitals are limited in what settings can be changed, shutter speed and exposure are the key to catching good pictures of fish, unless you have a remote flash that you could place above the fish firing down....................but then if you had that you'd have a nice DSLR too....................wish I had one :(
