Help with Pirnaha

I had exo's in with my p's for a while. It worked for about 2 weeks. I thought "cool, no problems" but then all of a sudden within a another week or so I started missing some, I started with 10 exo's in with 6 p's and ended up with 3 left in 4 weeks. That's some expensive feeders at $5 a piece. But you can never know what a p is thinking at anytime. They can look past a tankmate then just turn around and eat them. Pretty much nothing is safe with p's, sometimes even a pleco is not safe. Maybe a pacu will work but will eventually outgrow the tank.

Thanks everybody for the Info. i will try neons. My pleco has been doing well. He was introduced at the same time about a year ago. They chewed on his top fin here and there, but didn't bite into the meat. So it grew back. Anybody who wants to talk bout P's let me know. Looking for P lovers out there
