I tried to look outside buts its 25 out and to cold so go through things. Just to to ur local pool supply store or anyplace that sells pool sand and pick up a 50lb bag

we use that sand for our pools during work season. its actually a more course of a sand than regular sand.

Yes, its a heavier sand so it wont stay suspended in the water.

good luck all I had around here was white, some places seem to have both colors. theres always online though

playsand is cheaper and its tan looks good for cichlids and any other fresh water fish

and requires 20 times the wash time, and I have no idea of the settling time from play sand vs pool sand. I have no problems with pool sand getting in my filter and the outlet sits right above it and I got some big fish.
