Help with Sexing these Jags

i have a jag also he/she is about 4'' i was wondering how you tell they both look the same to me just different sizes?

Thanks everyone, you must be right. There were eggs about 2 days ago, and now they are starting to wiggle.

Updated picture of the pair. They have laid eggs twice now, the female seems to eat the babies about 2 days after they start swimming.

You can kind of look at the patterns and coloration if there are no tubes showing, but that's not 100% in all cases. In this case, the tubes are showing very well. Look at the closeup pics just in front of the anal fins. The female has a much larger tube, while the male's is smaller and pointier.

You take some great pics. They look great. You may just have to pull the babies if you want to raise them. It may take her a few times to get it right. Maybe there's something stressing her into eating them.

Here you go. Yesterday the tank looked like this (this picture was taken several weeks ago)

But the bricks surface was too rough and the Jags were scraping their face. So it looks like this right now, I am sure it will change again.
