HELP WITH SICK FISH

Being an owner of fish who will not eat prepared foods for about 2 and a half decades now (ie- piranha) my fish have gotten tons of varies cases of infection...........I use Mardel cletted cooper. So far it's killed ick quite a few times including my vampire tetras' case @ half the dose, fin rot/fungus do to exposed white meat from other aggressive fish attacks, and flukes. Best part you don't have to remove the carbon nor jack the temp nor treat with salt nor re-dose nor get off the regular water change schedule. Cooper-safe stays in the aquarium up to one month. I've fought with quick ick, i've had very limited success w/ natural remedies ie; melafix/permfix but 100% success w/ no re-infections with mardel. ick - gone 3-5 days. Fin rot gone 7-10 days, flukes gone 2-3 weeks each- 1 dose. I use this med exclusively for years now with full confidence so much so that bacterial infections cause me ZERO worries just a pain in the butt like scrubbing alage off the glass. I go thru sevral hundred feeders monthly sometimes I buy a batch of 75 and the next day their all dead and my tanks are infected- change the water treat w/ mardel add more feeders.................no worries.
That sure is comforting. Thanks alot man. The only crappy thing is that the box of maracyn 2 comes w/24 packets. 2 packets for every 10 gallons for the first day and a packet for every gallon for the rest of the days treating, hmm. With a hospital tank of 55 gallons filled 4/5 of the way, that's 8 packets for the first day. 4 packets the second day, third day, forth, fifth.... Uh oh no more medicine..
well currently i am using api fungus cure but no telling it will work. ive heard that at first, the fungus will look worse but then it will go away when u use meds and get toward the end of the treatment. is this true or should it just go away? i havnt had to deal with fungus before and ick was treated with malacite green so im really not sure what to expect
so onto the second dose it does look worse. i dont know if its getting better or not but i guess ill find out in about 24 hours. if not il try another method
This maracyn is workin like a charm. Only day 3 and I already notice some improvements. The white in his tail is disapearing and the rips are becomIng less noticeable. I have 2 more days before the contents of the Box is gone. After that I think I just might add salt and wait a couple days. Any advice? Should I get another box of maracyn and keep treating?
