ok, im convinced to buy a at least 55 gallon. When looking at the tank i saw that there is glass and acrylic. Is acrylic worth the extra money?

About catfish, i like bullheads, ive caught a few while fishing and ill probably put on in. How many 12in or less catfish and i put in the 55? or 75? What other kind of catfish stay under around or under a foot?

Thanks

First of all, welcome to MFK! Here is my two cents.

Glass tank = cheaper/heavier/harder to scratch
Acrylic tank = high in price/lighter/scratch easily

About keeping wild fish in home aquarium, you might wanna check your state law and regulations in transporting/keeping a live wild caught fish. with that said, you can only keep 1 12" catfish in a 55 gallons.

Thanks Mr. Keit, Monster Fish Keepers blows all other fish forums out of the water. Truely a great forum.

I would like to know your opinion on what kind to get via glass or acrylic?

Im looking at a 55 gallon but i want more than one catfish. I could get a 100 gallon for a extra 150$. So would a 100 gallon only hold 2 12in catfish?

what are the demtions of the 100 gallon i find that all glass is a great glass tank i have had 4 with no probems. what is the price of a 100 tank. were are you located in florida? and what are you willing to spend

60x18x20 are the dims. It is for sale for 300 with the top glass and light. I am about 30 minutes outside of Tallahassee. Is that a pretty good deal?
