No, I wouldn't pay $20 for a jack that big.. I would maybe give the guy $10.

I gave my 10" and 7" breeding pair away for free.

how long do they live for? how long does a healthy 8-9 inch jack have left in his life? just wondering

They can live to about 18 years.

They grow fast from my experience, and within a year can be full size given the correct tank size.

I HATE when people say Jacks can live life in a 55.
