Help with Vampire Pleco

I need some help with my Vampire Pleco. It looks like it's left pectoral fin is deteriorating away. Anyone knows what's wrong with it? What's the best remedy? Sorry for the crappy pics, but that's the best I can do.

Sounds like fin rot. Some antibacterial meds might do it.
 
I think you should try Melafix. Make sure the gravel stays clean and look for any fish that are biting him. Any bichirs? I saw mine attack my gold nugget.
 
Thats a shame, but it will grow back. Could be fin rot (look up symptoms), fish taking nips, or it have messed it up on decorations (although that is more common with tears as opposed to deteriating) but looks more like a bacterial problem.
