Help with weird growth on aimara

I've been told by two people now that it's lymphocystis and that there's not treatment (one of them being Wes) which is a huge bummer

I agree. I would honestly nip it off at the base. Put some dilute iodine on it and salt the water. See what happens.

I agree. Cut it off. Done this to expensive fish, without issue. Net it, place in zip lock, cut opening in corner of ziplock bag, push fish's jaw out of opening, cut it completely off with a clean sterile knife/blade, place back into tank. IMO.

Seriously! One of the most helpful guys and definitely up there with the most knowledgeable when it comes to fish! Plus it doesn't hurt that he works in a hospital so has the tools as well
