Help!

i have acquired a Jardini about 9 10 inch long for free.

It has gill curl and one eye has gone slightly cloudy and has a small white spot sort of growth in the middle buthis other eye is fine. His barbles are all but gone and doesn't seem to feed (i've tried frozen live and pellet). although he fed in the shop only a couple hours before i got him(Live fish).

he is very slow and not quite as active as my silver.

any ideas on what i can do to sort him out?

Provide clean 84 degree water and aquarium salt of one tablespoon per 10 gallons. I would hold off feeding for a couple days, let him settle for a bit. How bad is the gill curl? any pics?

also make sure to have good water quality.

as for the gill curl... i heard putting a power head in the tank can help heal this problem if its not too bad yet. but if its bad, surgery is needed to cure it.

i am sorry to say the lil guy didn't make it. found him dead when i got in from work.
