isn't 75% an extremely large water change?!

yeah i would of tested my water then from the readings i would of did a 30 or 40% and add prime. after that i would of waited a day or 2 to test my water again. depending on the readings, if necessary 3 days after the first water change maybe another 20 or 30%.

I didnt have a kit available - and the water was not looking good - so i decided to take a good bit out last night - the fish luckily are swimming around as healthy as ever...probably wouldnt recommend doing such a drastic change though - you are right

if it was only 1 fish, then it was probably due to injury
