HELP!!!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
lower the water will increase the desolved oxigen at the bottom where the ray stay. if your air pump is mulfunction, then lowering the water is good move. otherwise, of course the more water the better.

when you have problem with filter or equipment, no feeding and change water is the alternative way to maintain. try change a bit at a time, but try to do it more times in the begining. Measure NO2/NO3 will be essencial.

wouldnt having more water help?
bec the more water volume the less likely your water is going to be bad

Agreed

not working with enough water volumes right now to lessen the volume at the cost of adding more O2.. add an airstone instead.

Its ok though,
like previously posted I got another pump for free for the time being until my actual pump gets replaced. The free pump is only 600gph (my other pump was atleast double this) but I still think that will be ok for the time being as I my water in the pond still gets filtered more than twice an hour. I oviously didnt feed my rays at all while I didnt have my filter running for ovious reasons (im no nood her lol). As well through all of this I didnt lower my water, the problem wasnt the dissolved oxygen in my water as I still had 2 bio sponge filters running as well as 2 air stones, the problem was keeping my water quality under control for the time being (which was a little bitt under 24 hours). My rays are still perfectly fine, im still not feeding as much as I did before all of this happened bec I want to monitor my water quality with the new pump bec I dont know how addiquate it is compared to my other pump.
Thanks for all your help everyone.

p.s. dont mind all my spelling mistakes lmao
