Just to be sure, add a tablespoon dose per 10-15 minutes. I did this with mine when my loaches had ich. Scaleless fish are a little more sensitive to osmotic shock if done hastily but meds can be worse than salt and are best used as a last resort. Please keep us updated.

I will defiantly keep you updated and hope for the best. at the moment they are all only in a 10 gallon. so i would only need 2x tablespoons. and also within the next two weeks these will be getting transferred to a 50 gallon tank. how can I make sure that the ick is gone and wont transfer to the new tank?

The only way really is to complete the treatment course in 10-14 days before you move them.

alright. i have to let the filter run through for a couple of weeks when i get the tank anyways. And last question .. I added the salt yesterday and upp'd the temperature. didnt' really seem to bother the fish or sharks (I added 2x table spoons for the 10 gallon tank .. I think I understood that right). and My question is .. am I supposed to repeat this everyday or every couple of days? .. or was it a one time salt add and that should get rid of the ich?

I answered your PM. If you plan to do water changes, replace the amount of salt per the amount of water you changed.

alright thanks a lot for all the help. Update .. it's either day 4 or 5 and the ich seems to still be present. the sharks are still covered in white spots and I still don't think they are eating anything.

Also I could use some help on this .. The smaller of my two iridescent seems to have formed some sort of like bubble on the side of his body yesterday. like a silver big lump just behind his gill. It stood out a lot more last night then this morning. it was still present today but almost seemed to be gone down a bit. Anyone with any idea's on what it would be?

alright I think this is like day 6 .. don't remember exactly and ich is still present. The smaller managed to get the big bubble off the side of him after a day or two but they still have the white spot. They are still swimming normally and still seem to be living fine. So will this start to eventually work? or should i do something else?
