A fish's first tank doesn't have to be the same tank it dies in. 2. You don't need anyones permission to put fish 'A' into tank 'B'. You know what they are going to need and are willing to give them that. 3. Depending on which Africans you are talking about, you may need to overstock them anyway to keep agression down.
