can i get away wiht just puting a few african cichlids in a 20 gallon long tank for a little while till i get monet right?

why not justa get something smaller that u like untill u geta new tank

or just wait those two months and plan the whole ordeal and what stock you want. the new tank will still have to cycle so you're probably looking at close to 3 months at least.

1. Rules were meant to be broken. The rule in question sucks anyway. A fish's first tank doesn't have to be the same tank it dies in.

2. You don't need anyones permission to put fish 'A' into tank 'B'. You know what they are going to need and are willing to give them that.

3. Depending on which Africans you are talking about, you may need to overstock them anyway to keep agression down.
