what is wrong with my bass all day today they have been sitting bunched up and laying on the sand??????????

have you checked your water yet? parameters? whats your water temp? when was your last water change? are they breathing hard/fast?
about how long ago did you do your water change? how much? was the temp of the water change and the tank about the same? and try turning of the lights for today.
Not P-bass but I have some fish that do that every time I do a water change. They also did it when I mess with the decor. Maybe they just don't like the disturbance and will mellow later. Mine have sat like that for hours over me moving a piece of driftwood.
Can't really offer any advice/knowledge that'll help....but, are they still eating? The answer might help others hone in on the problem (if there is one).
