hey everyone... i got a small problem... my JD has been bullying all of my fish and no one is eating for a day or two .... what should i do... should i get rid of him or what?

they are all just hiding in the upper corner of my tank ... any help?

Depends. Do you like the JD more or less than the rest of your fish? Fortunately it won't kill a fish to go a few days without eating, and unless the JD is causing real damage to its tankmates things will probably calm down. If you're really worried about them eating toss in some bloodworms, they'll eat.

i would have to say i like him less then the rest of my fish... has has caused some damage to my littler jag.

How much bigger is you Jack than the other fish and what size tank are they in?
Usually it is better to get them at the same time and size-you would have a better chance. Do you have caves in your tank? It sound to me like your JD got used to having the tank to himself-usually when you have a cichlid for a long period of time with no mates-they grow intolerable of other fish.

When one of my fish is beating on another of my fish, they either get over it, or I move one. Had to separate my motags from My cubans last week. They couldn't play nice anymore.

The problem is your tank size. I have a managuensis, JD, and venny pike that were housed in a 55 gallon. The jag and JD would jaw lock and the jag would get his face all tore up (although the jag is a relentless little bugger that always started it).

The ONLY way to keep a jag and JD together is to have at least a 125 gallon tank.

So, the question is; what size is your tank?
