HELP

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Ok, so here we are tonight for instance. I am sitting here watching March Madness and my girl is cooking up another fantastic chicken dinner. So before she gets all fancy with sauces and spices I get to cut up some organic boneless chicken breast. There isn't much fat but I trim off what there is. I then rinse it very well and serve to my boy. Attached are pictures...
Please tell me if this is acceptable.
Thanks

limit it to 1-2 times per month and you should be ok. again, terrestrial materials have much more fat than fish/shellfish in most cases.-

To the O.P. Sorry to hear of your loss. Plecos are one of the worst tankmates for Gar/Bichirs.

i agree with solomon. but still.....
KF friggen C!!!!!!!!!!! I only feed differnt live. not the greatest but i blame my orriginal gar. if you do feed live QT and give them a varieed diet of healthy foods. and give minnows over goldfish. I give goldfish, rosies, ghost shrimp and guppies. Spring is here and soon i will be catching frogs and tadpoles. will be QTing them as well.

to gar keeper,
dude....the dude lost his gar.
at least feel sorry for it.
its as if you can can feel some sort of compassion.
oh,and youre sure your gar watches TV?
or is it because he has no room to turn away from it?

hmmmm
what size tank is his 2' gar in? did he ever say?
and to the OP when you getting another? you know you wanna......
snookn21 has some good ones for a good price

You just will not accept this point will you? How many more ways can it be presented to you? Yes that is fine to feed the fish but:
NO IT SHOULD NOT BE A COMMON FOOD ITEM.
Can we now understand this and get past this?

I understand you actually want the best for your fish and I commend you for that. I really do believe you will give this fish a good life and will try to. You need to understand your husbandry is very flawed at this time and not in the true best interest of the fish. This is not coming out of my butthole dude I have kept these fish for many years Your not talking to the guy that just got a "marbleline gar". Please either take the info given to you or just do not bother anymore and do as you wish and see what happens.

Not much point discussing any of this and all that needs to be said has been said
