thanks, he is already doing better. he is swimming around the 29 fine now, but he is really scratched up. do you think the scratches will heal and go back to his normal color pattern?

Look at the female Festae in my avatar. See the big battle scar on her shoulder? (do fish have shoulders? haha). That scar is from a big chunk taken out of her. You could literally see the white fish meat inside of her and she was all scratched up. The pic was taken a couple of months ago after I finally took her out of the hospital tank. The scar is much less visible now and all the scratches and smaller wounds are completely gone.
