i am looking to buy these fish!!
a JD
6 year old oscar
and a bigger pleco..

i need help sexing this JD
it looks female to me.. but not too sure!

and

and i need help with what kind of fiiish this is... lol

The JD really looks like a male in my opinion, Usually females don't have near as much spangleing on the gills. Also the white area on the Oscars head looks like HITH, in which case you might wanna read up on that. It might change your mind about putting him with your other stock.

And that african cichlid has to be some type of hybrid, maybe a psuedo/cynotilapia mix. Im reallllllllly unsure of that tho.

i thought it was the other way around to were the males don't have spangles but the females do..??

Looks male, but still not 100% maybe he/she needs to grow a little bit more yet. And I agree with "enjoyable attempt" regarding HITH (Hole In The Head) I would keep an eye on that.

The jd looks like a male, but usually males don't have much color on their gill plate. If i had to choose i would go with a male.
