I am stuck on what else to but in the 150g. already have a chinese perch, armatus, one motoro(soon to be anoter)a silver dat, and a small pbass.

Was thinking af getting 2 freshwater moreys and or a pleuro. good idea?

any input would be helpfull thanks.

Yeah I would also say you have a full tank, if not overstocked due to the fishes size. I think your good to go bro/sis.

the morays are a bad idea, at some point they need SW or at least high-level brackish water

How about you,

-Do some research
-Learn the adult size of these fish and thier bio-load
-Realize once the fish are full size the tank will be overstocked.

And once you've done those three things, You will know that this thread was useless, and you really shouldn't put anything else at all in there.

and in the end if you won't be able to upgrade, you may even consider downsizing and lose all your beloved fish! think about it. you all got mini monsters in there waiting to become true monsters.

i Know all the size's of the fish before i got them. and i intend to but them all in another tank once they get to that monster size. but i want them to all "know eachother" so when i do but them in there Big tank i dont have any unwanted deaths.

Id leave it be, your gonna run out of room. and i dont think that there is such a thing as a 'true' freshwater moray. Im sure that sombody like DB junkie will know.

i have to dissagree here. there are, at least a handful of morays that spend nearly their entire existences in freshwater. Gymnothorax polyuranodon is just one of them. i happen to know Nameless0 (david) very well, and know the eels he is in the process of aquireing have been in freshwater for an extended period of time, are feeding, and have grown considerably since they were purchased by their previous owner......

just my $0.02.....
