Something is definitely wrong with my 7" Azul. His back end is wanting to float up to the top. If he stops swimming, his tail starts to go to the top. He has plenty of strength, but he continuously has to swim in order to keep himself from the top.

Also, I am not sure if it is related, but he has some whitish patches on his sides. There is no growth; just larger discolored patches. I am not sure if the patches are just from aggression. There is no other damage to the fish at all.

Here is a crappy picture, but it shows the white patch on one side:

After looking at him again, I don't think the patches are due to aggression. It's gotta be a disease or bacteria or something:(

looks like fungus, the high temp of the tank will accelerate the fungus, you will want to either treat the whole tank or treat in qt tank sooner better then later.... have no idea about the floating.. could be related though

Would it be fuzzy or textured if it was a fungus? The surface where the spots are does not look irregular in texture at all, just color.

I added 1 tablespoon of salt for every 5 gallons, and I bumped the temp up to hopefully reach 84. He doesn't seem to be swimming abnormally any more. He was doing that for a very brief time, so maybe it was nothing.
