hope you still able to save your bichir, i would just separate the bichir from the rest if you have any. I would not feed it any food till it gets better, and making sure adequate filtration and oxygen, any other improper medicine could just make it worst, even salt. lastly I would also watch the water chemistry. So just use stock water.
