one of my baby indo Datnoid have this swollen bump around the eyes and mouth. I think its fungus but not too sure if I am right so can you please tell me what is it? and what kinds of treament should i use for the poor little guy? the fish is eating just fine and still chase other datnoid no signs of him being stressed or hard breathing anything but I really want to make that bump on its mouth to go away. hhmm..... I'm not familiar with that , But even if i was, it can still be sumting else....

The best way to treat Most parasites is salt imo....i never really used medecine, just salt.

I going to do that, I glad that the fish is still normal and eating just fine but it gets annoying seeing the bump. =(

I hear you man, i encountered weird parasites, mostly from them biting eachother or scrapes . Anyways, i use salt , and couple of days, it clears out..

now i use this uv sterelizer from petsmart"gren killing machine" never had a ich or parasite since . just my 2 cents

looks like its been injured by another fish. at least its still eating.

just keep up your normal wc schedule, and add salt.

It might die though, being so young and small. Those tigers all looked really washed out (and pale) have you tested your water??

So today i checked back the red bump is gone, I'm so excited

they seem to get that with ammonia burn...the WC should have cleared it up
imo i dont think dats have teeth to be takeing chunks out of each other
