yeah, main cause of HITH is bad water quality so just keep up with water changes and it will be fine

pretty much any fish can get HITH if they are kept in bad enough conditions for long enough, some are just more prone to it than others. same with parasites, some fish are more prone to being affected by them than others but all can get them
