Making a paste out of Kalkwaser and administering it locally kills just about everything.

Other wise, pull the rock out and let it dry out. That would work if it was contained to only a couple of rocks.

Joes juice works for aiptasia.

In any event, keep the killing down to a few every day and remove the dead stuff that you can. That way, you keep ammonia spikes down to a minimum.

Any sort of application process should be done with all water movement pumps and filter returns off.

Secondly, it is incredibly hard, and will never be completely successful. The only way I have ever gotten rid of all of them was with peppermint shrimp.

Others I know have had success with copperbanded butterfly fish, but they are hard to get onto prepared foods after eating aptasia for so long.

Not at all.

The way to kill them is quickly change the pH of their body... hence the calcium paste or inject them with freshwater.

Some shrimp and fish will eat them as well if you feel like adding animals.

Agreed...but it is impossible to get all of them. What ends up happening is you disturb them, which creates millions of little ones.

Sooner or later your rocks will be covered with one so small they are hard to see.

Biological control is the only real hope of control/cure in my opinion.

It's a FOWLR? I'd say take the piece of rock out and torch the hicker with a flame of some sort. Wipe of the "dead" mess and you're in business.

I have 5 tanks all totally covered about 2 million little ones every where in gravel in filters on decor on the top the heaters even .The tanks are full of LG triggers and LG puffers there all very aggressive tanks they are from 55g to 125 gal
injections would take about 200 years to complete on all the millions on little ones and adding cal paste I would need about 5gals of paste at least .
Is there any other options
