My Goby gets his tank dirty really fast i have 3 filters and they dont get it all so i was thinking about getting those fish that stick on the walls and eat the bacteria and was wondering if they would get eaten by the goby or anything of the sort

do weekly or bi-weekly water changes, that should improve the water quality dramatically.

the other fish you speak of is a pleco, and most if not all plecos are messy fish and may make your problem worse. When I had a common pleco there used to be poop everywhere, now I have a small leopard frog pleco and a gold nugget pleco and they dont make much of a mess if any at all, I havent noticed anything. Also plecos do not eat other fishes or its own poop, just algae and other organic growth.

I agree, more water changes will help, I would also recommend picking up a http://www.bigalsonline.com/Fish_Ma...ill-Clean-And-Fill_8165377_82.html?tc=default it will make things a lot easier on you.

if your thinking about plecos first of all itll make a bigger mess..they are pooping machines but water changes should help your tank if you do them more but personally unlike everyone on this site who thinks water changes are "right" or whatever..you dont need them i dont do water changes really and my tank is spotless

Not only do water changes help keep the water clean looking, it helps keep your nitrates down which are harmful you your fish in large amounts.

Ok cool sounds good so if they make a bigger mess i wont get one and its the biggest hassle to thoroughly clean his tank because I have to siphon the water out its nasty but I clean the glass a lot with my magnet thingy

There is only one way to clean the poo out of the tank and thats water changes with a suction hose and replacing with tap water at the same temp and a good dechlorenator I use prime . There are no "poop eating fish " available . Its a chore but make it fun ... fishkeeping is fun

dont feed as much and do the frequent partial water changes and it shouldn't be such a chore in terms of making a mess....as for the prior comment about water changes, i disagree, because water changes are the key. If you do frequent water changes you don't even need massive filtration.
