Kyle forgets to use peas for her, you must eat her with dry daphnia, it is more natural and have laxative action. you can buy it in anywhere petshop. You avoid excess with the feeding. Gook lucky, man.

Thanks so much man!! Running to a petstore now.

You could try some garlic juice thats worked for me with some fish that I've had that didn't want to eat. If that doesn't work maybe get some earthworms chop then up really small and stick it in the worm. If worse comes to worse you could always catch him and shove it down his throat but that would probably be to stressful and would cause more harm then good.

Having no luck with getting him to eat any of it. Been looking around, anyone think it might be dropsy? I don't know if it is but hes not passing food so i'm going with a blockage.

if the suggestion about internal parasites is right, maybe a cocktail of anti-parasitic remedies could be tried, could try metronidazole+praziquantel for starters

never met with such problems before

what I did meet was big fish eating inedible/impassible objects (plastic plants, plastic sacks) and not be able to pass them but then they would refuse any food til their death;

if yours is still feeding as usual, he/she is not feeling so bad

pregnancy? sorry, I have no cichlid experience
