Did you recently do a water change? What kind of dechlor did you use? And yes, if there was some kind of residue in the bucket that could definitely cause this as well.
i let the water sit in the bucket to declorinize i let it sit for a day before putting it in and just to be sure i got a brand new bucket for water changes
Sounds like things are going bad.. but the best you can do is keep an eye on them.. are all these fish doing the same thing.. if so i would say yes then somehow they have the same issues... what that issue is .. should be determined as quickly as possible.. if you think there was residue of something in the pail then i would do a waterchange.. are they all new fish.. did you quarenteen them before you added others to the original.. you have to tell us more.. was the tank completely cycled and tested... i hope it works out..
ok the tank was cycled i did not quaitine because there was no fish in there at the time and they were all bought at once i have switched buckets and im using a new clean one really they look and act fine 99 % of the time its just the rubbing on the ground thats the problem they have no marks on them
even if u let it sit out, the chlorine will evaporate but the choromine will not, that is most likly your problem, go buy some prime and go ahead and put some in ur tank and use it from now on when u do a water change
