Dude,i know why they got the name Belly Crawler,but i don't think mine has an atrophied swim bladder because this guy BEGS at the surface(a 24" tall surface!!)like a loyal doggie!!

They can swim, its just awkward for them to do so...
. They would much rather prefer to stay on the bottom and let food come to them...
